Neils C. LarsonD.C.
Neils Larson, D.C. graduated with academic and clinical honors from Life Chiropractic College West in 2015. He is a native of the Sacramento foothills, and first moved to Santa Barbara to attend UCSB, where he graduated with a BA in Communication in 2011. He has returned to Santa Barbara to become a new doctor with the Advanced Chiropractic Group.
Neils was raised with a very holistic approach to health. His mother was influential in teaching him about proper nutrition and introducing him to alternative forms of healthcare, including chiropractic. This proved beneficial when he became involved in physically demanding athletics in high school. As a competitive wrestler and motocross racer Dr. Larson, D.C. suffered several minor and major injuries. His experience with successful chiropractic treatments of these injuries inspired him to pursue a career in chiropractic.
While in clinic at Life West, Dr. Larson, D.C. was trained in the diversified method of chiropractic. In addition to full spine adjusting, he has been trained to treat and adjust extremity complaints. In 2014, Dr. Larson, D.C. was able to join a group of doctors on a chiropractic mission trip to Deli, India. Their team of chiropractors worked in collaboration with medical doctors to provide to best services possible to those in need. He cites this as one of the most influential experiences of his chiropractic education.
In five short years, he's taken over as the owner of the practice and became involved with the community here. Dr. Larson, D.C. provides health and wellness to our local community by empowering our patients with knowledge about diet, exercise, and the function of the human body. He's a devoted family-man who loves watching movies, golfing, and fishing. He and his wife Kelsey, a local schoolteacher at Adams Elementary, are proud parents to Ava Rose and Charlie.
